The Compliance and Ethics content library offers a growing number of interactive and engaging legal and compliance training courses. All of the courses in this library was all written and edited by a team of practicing attorneys, government regulators, and legal compliance experts. The Compliance and Ethics content library contains over 16 hours of training needed to navigate the complex legal compliance landscape.
Integrating Technology in the Classroom
The Integrating Technology in the Classroom library was developed to englighten educators about the various ways to incorporate the Internet and computers into the learning environment. These courses explore how technology can be integrated behind the scenes in lesson planning and within the classroom. The Integrating Technology in the Classroom library includes over 30 hours of interactive and engaging training.
Integrating Technology in the Classroom with iLife '08
This content library helps educators learn, use, and then integrate the tools in iLife '08 into their classroom curriculum. This library includes interactive courses explaining the concepts of web pages, podcasts, online photo sharing, and online video sharing. In addition, this library includes specific application training for GarageBand '08, iWeb '08, iDVD '08, iMovie '08, and iPhoto '08.
National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS-S)
The NETS-S, developed by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), defines technology standards for students. More than 90% of US state departments of education have adopted, adapted, or referenced ISTE NETS. This library such diverse areas such as basic operations and concepts, social, ethical, and human issues, technology research tools, and much more! These topics will help students with the skills needed to be successful in life.
National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS-T)
The NETS-T, developed by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), defines the fundamental concepts, knowledge, skills and attitudes for applying technology in educational settings. Faculty at cooperating schools are responsible to provide opportunities for teacher candidates to meet these standards.
Digital Literacy Content Library
The Digital Literacy content library helps improve the computer and Internet skills of employees. This training library includes over 350 courses covering digital literacy skills. These engaging courses are geared towards helping learners gain the knowledge and computer skills needed to effectively and efficiently use technology.
Essential Softskills
The Essential Softskills online training content library contains 20 in-depth, interactive courses to meet any organization's softskill training needs. These courses were deisgned specifically to train organizations about management skills, personal effectiveness, and customer service skills. The library is geared towards improving learner's effectiveness and efficiency.
Protecting Students in the 21st Century: What You Need to Know
The Protecting Students in the 21st Century Library is a comprehensive, online internet safety program that involves students, teachers, and parents to keep teens safe online and with their cell phones. In addition to the online curriculum and training lessons, the program includes assessments, quizzes, and a safety pledge for students, safety plan for teachers, and a self-assessment and resource for parents.
