The Internet Marketing Coordinator at SimpleK12 (InfoSource, Inc.) is an incredibly diverse and rewarding role. Technical and web aptitude is crucial to success in this position as well as a genuine passion for online marketing!

A team player, they are responsible for creating, executing, and launching effective product specific marketing campaigns using the internet. The Internet Marketing Coordinator will own responsibility of marketing and promoting products through a variety of channels, mainly the company website (WordPress), blog (WordPress), Twitter, and ecommerce site (Network Solutions).

They are responsible for understanding the product and market, and will position the product in a unique and interesting way using 21st century marketing tools and ideas. In addition, they will manage and run web based promotional and advertising campaigns and contests specific to the products. The right person will be passionate about social media, ecommerce, and everything techy!

In addition, they will play a key role in developing all necessary marketing pieces to support the product line, as well as helping maintain the company website. They will also be responsible for maintenance of products and information in the ecommerce shop.

Reporting to and working with the Marketing Manager, specific responsibilities include:

- Create new and innovative ways to sell and promote products through social media
- Monitor and manage product positioning on the company website and shopping cart
- Developing supporting marketing collateral including flyers, videos, fact sheets, media sheets, course listings and more to use to sell and market online
- Create and host LIVE web based product demonstrations
- Manage and execute web based advertising campaigns
- Manage email campaigns
- Research and stay abreast to competitors and product trends for future content development
- Organize, maintain, and update ecommerce shopping cart and website to ensure proper promotion of products
- Work with customers to develop case studies, references, and testimonials to support products
- Be a team player and contribute creativity, out-of-the-box ideas to team meetings and brainstorming sessions

The Ideal Candidate will have:
- A 4-year degree in marketing, internet marketing, ecommerce or related field
- Experience promoting products and services in an online environment
- Previous experience with WordPress and managing installs and backups
- An exceptional aptitude for technology , and learning new tech applications quickly
- Ability to use (or quickly learn) movie editing software (such as iMovie) to create marketing ads
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills, especially product web copy
- A do-whatever-it-takes attitude
- A passion for online marketing, ecommerce, and social media
- Attention to detail , creativity and flexibility
- A positive attitude, ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, and a genuine excitement for life
